Unhappy Being confusing on linux shared memory

Hi, nice guys, I am working on a bank card system now, in this system, I touch some issue about shared memory, I have read some meterials about that, but still cannot make my mind clear, can anyone recommend me some e-book about linux shared memory? thanx for your reply~
