Just posting, going all out for my domain join of Linux Mint. I'm going to work on this still, but that first.

I can work on this a little now, before I go to other problems. I joined my domain, and then I updated the look & feel, for those that haven't been following my other thread.

These other problems are for other threads, if needed, but now, at some point, I need to redo my wiring, and redo my servers, then at the very least update my AD configuration. It really IS time that I updated my servers, which were created sometime after 2015, and were started in 2010! I can't even redo them from scratch anymore, as they are waaaaaay toooo ooooold! I lost my files for it, so it's not possible to redo them now. I can't get ahold of the packages, and with all this better technology, why should I?

I guess I should work on this problem now, instead of moving on to other problems.

So, my final question, unless I should open a new thread for it, is how to get the "sudo make install", to not complain to me, about the dictionary. If "sudo make install" will work, then the program probably works well enough. Then I can make my changes and learn about the terms of redistributing my modified copy. No worries if I read and it only says I can make changes but not distribute. My whole goal was just to learn how to read code better and modify it, not to add to the game, neccessarily. I'm just "playing a game", by "modifying the game". But if it gives me errors, with normal processes, I'm not doing it right yet!

I think the basic objective is met, although I'm having trouble with the compilation. So I'm letting this thread go, and starting a new thread for my remaining issue, which is really a different problem, though related.
