bash source help

I recently found that bash allows simple emacs commands. I want to extend this functionality, but cannot seem to find the source file for this. Does anybody know in which file/function this functionality lies?

go into the source directory and run this

grep -i emacs *

that should give you something to go on.

It's in GNU Readline, a separate module. Some of the commands are configurable.

"info readline" for more information
