Question Automated Regression Testing Software

I'm trying to find a piece of software that
would automate the process of regression testing...It needs to be able to run the user
interface (mouse clicks, keyboard input etc.)
and also keep track of the output so that it can
be checked....the software that is going to be tested will probably run under Windows...

anyone know of software that would meet these
requirments?

also it doesn't matter whether or not the software is free.

Hi -

"Silk" is one automated GUI test product I used a zillion or so years ago. It was good; I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's been rebranded and no longer available under the "silk" name.

Here's a link that discusses "silk" and other tools:

Here's a link from the O'Reilly site that might also be of interest to you:

'Hope that helps .. PSM

Interestingly, I just got an announcement this morning from BDN (Borland Developers Network mail group) that Silk is still alive and well ... and it was just acquired by Borland International:

Anyway - it's definitely a product your team should look at.

IMHO .. PSM
