auto select open in forms?

I've got this code:
<select size="1" name="form1">
<option><a href="#" onSelect="'about.html','about','left=300,top=200,scrollbars=yes,width=600,height=400')">About me</a></option>
<option><a href="#" onSelect="'house.html','house','left=300,top=200,scrollbars=yes,width=600,height=400')">My house</a></option>
And I wan't my visitors to select an option and then the cmd starts without having to push any Go og Send button....

<select name="menu3"
return false;">
<option value="index.html" selected>Home Page</option>
<option value="/internet/index.html">Internet Tutorials</option>
<option value="/internet/javascript/index.html">JavaScript Samples</option>
