ARM a8 architecture

Hi,
I'd like to work on the new ARM A8 core. Are there some tech ref manuals or perhaps some architecture manuals available for it. I searched on ARM's site, but all they gave was a whitepaper. Is any other ARM core similar to the A8, so that I could start off with that? Please advise.
