Question apache problems after installing PHP

After Installing PHP on my apache server external javascripts no longer work ! . Internal Javascripts work just fine (in the body or header). no External Javascripts work, whether the page is .php, .htm, or .html. What Gives, the pages run fine until I Put them up on the server. Any Help or Comments would be appreciated. Thank You.

PHP and Apache should not have anything to do with javascript as
this language script is usually for the client side, not for server

Maybe you did not set the path to external javascripts correctly or
at least (I don't know if it is possible) they may be weird invisible
chars in your scripts that make the brower not execute them

Maybe check your doctype also
