Im trying to debug a script on my server and I have a hunch its going into an infinite loop. My question is this: does apache terminate a cgi script after a certain amount of time?
I'll elaborate: does apache terminate a child process (cgi script) if it has been running for a long time and/or the connection with the client has been closed?
alright, ive found out a few more things: Apache will send a sigterm signal to the cgi script if the user disconnects.
Because Google is useless thesedays, I have to rely on forums like this to find out whats the problem. I need to know about sigterm. does it wait for the program to finish?
