Any body knows something about TypeNode in Gobject?

I am trying to analyze the source code of Gobject these days , It is really a hard work to me and I 've been trapped in the file gtype.c . I found TypeNode is a fundamental structure of gobject . But I can not find any materials that can help me to understand it .

If any body knows any thing about it , please give me some materials .
