adding new user from jsp page

Dears,
I have problem.
I am a programmer in a reputed company in my country.
Recently i developed a Prepaid billing system using java language.
But the problem is:
I can not create new user in linux system from jsp page(Java Server page), and also I can not change the linux system password from my page.
Is it possible by using jsp technology or Servlets technology.
If anybody know this please mail me the following mail address.
mukitshams@grameensoftware.com

Thanks.

MasterC, any chance you can be a little more conservative abuot posting? While mr/miss/mrs mukit might be glad that the post is bounced, asking what JSP is isn't gonna help them get an answer. it's Java Server Pages tho. servlet? something like that.

Hi,

I dunno much about linux programming, but here's how I'd go about it.
Have your JSP / Servlet make a call to the native function that actually changes the password. If there's not one to do this, you could try another method, such as:
Have your servlet make a native call to a C function which simply runs a shell script that you've written to change the details you require.

If you know a bit of C/shell this wouldn't take long at all.
Good luck.
