Adding INTRINSICS to GCC
I am having a killer time figuring out GCC. There is like so much stuff. One of our engineers added like 150 of our instructions into GCC for instrinsics, but now I've been given the task of doing the rest. Memory instructions, vector instructions, etc. It won't be a vector compiler, but the C code will call the intrinsics passing in Vector variables.
Anyone got some pointers? Articles, any documentation? I've added a few intrinsics to it, myself, but like memory ones, which 'seem' a little more involved I cannot do yet.
Please let me know if you got anything. I'll do the easy ones first, I guess.
Thanks!
