Lightbulb about SDL


Hi,

I am new to Linux programmin and to its environment. Could any one help me installing SDL on LINUX red hat 9.0

I would like to work with multimedia API.

Try getting familiar with redhat and its RPM package system first.
Then install these:

SDL-1.2.5-3.i386.rpm
SDL-devel-1.2.5-3.i386.rpm
SDL_image-1.2.2-5.i386.rpm
SDL_image-devel-1.2.2-5.i386.rpm
SDL_mixer-1.2.4-7.i386.rpm
SDL_mixer-devel-1.2.4-7.i386.rpm
SDL_net-1.2.4-5.i386.rpm
SDL_net-devel-1.2.4-5.i386.rpm

And read these:
