A good Pc configuration for Software developement


Hello,
I am going to upgrade my PC for Software developement using Java,PHP,C++,C,LISP,VisualStudio.net under windows and Linux.And little bit gaming and entertainment.So can you guys please help me telling a good processor,amount of ram,motherboard,HDD capacity with a 2-3 years future proof configuaration in mind.I live in India

Depends on how you define gaming, and whether you'll follow through
with whatever M$ throws your way. Really you're asking "How long
is a piece of string?", and you're the only one who'd know.
