A good beginner C tutorial/book

What would you reccommend for a good tutorial/book for C which covers the basics and explains a lot? If, possible make it free and online ^^;

if you have access to, i suggest :
C: The Complete Reference, Fourth Edition
by Herbert Schildt  	ISBN:0072121246
McGraw-Hill/Osborne  2000 (805 pages)
