500 'EPSV': command not understood

hi

I send text files via ftp over the vpn tunnel from linux to windows using perl script or shell Konsole and get following messages on the screen:

Code:
500 'EPSV': command not understood
or
Code:
WARNING! 1 bare linefeeds received in ASCII mode.
File may not have transferred correctly.
files after transfer are corrupt.

change the transfer mode to ASCII or BINARY doesn't help.

knows someone what's wrong ?
