[gst-python] Python warning with gstreamer

I'm trying to develop a programme that can load/play/pause/fade etc. music tracks from my computer, using the python backend to gstreamer.

If I run
Code:
#!/usr/bin/env python
import gst
I get "** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GstObject)". Am I using a deprecated library, in which case what should I be using instead? Or am I just worrying unnecessarily?

Everything I've found using our mutual friend Google is a bug report on various applications which generate this warning...

Doing a quick search it seems it is something to not worry about. It apparently only displays this message the first time the script is run as debug information.
