Question [cygwin] How to use the cygwin.dll in Windows Programming

I'm not sure if this is really the place to put this, and this is by far my favorite forum for anything.

So my question is, how would I go about using the cygwin.dll, similar to what Irissi did for their Windows standalone version? Where woudl I find the information for that? I'm probably not searching the correct terms.

I tried sending this to the Cygwin Mailing Lists but Google Mail says that it keeps getting kicked back.

What do you really want to do? (Using cygwin.dll isn't a goal it iself, it can be a mean to achieve what you really want.)

I didn't really have a goal in mind, a lot of things I would want to do are already done. I guess I would want to make something that would utilize the SSH program and make a window manager out of it using Cygwin, if that's possible.

So it would be a Windows application that is a window-manager, that uses ssh and cygwin.dll. Well, good luck.
