'mmap'ing a global variable in driver
Hi All,
I am facing a problem with mmap. I tried
mmap for a 'kmallocd' memory in the driver and
it works as desired.
With the same code,when I try to map a global
memory in my driver to application, it gets a
different memory.
Whatever changes I made from driver (from init
module or later with ioctls) application
doesnt see anything (vice versa) .
Can any one tell me what is causing the problem?
Suggestions will be a great help!
