''Help Me!!'' pls... This is a very important firmware/router project..

I desperately need help and advice....
I am currently doing this project on the WRT54G linksys router. The above mentioned router is linux based.
Right now I am suppose to compile source codes and flash it into firmware for the router.
My purpose is to allow the final device to have at least a low level of intrusion detection signals.
Where can I get the relevant source codes for the above router and the source codes must be able to be compiled successfully using the gcc compiler.
Is anyone experienced in the WRT54G linksys router or firmware relating projects? Does anyone know how to use the gcc compiler and compile router source codes?

I really hope some one will help me as I am very stressed up right now. I am now left with about 3 weeks to do this project.

Please, will someone help me?

3 weeks!? Good luck man. Source code (after a simple google search): http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satel...VisitorWrapper

Here is a Wiki for compiling the OpenWRT source code: http://sarwiki.informatik.hu-berlin....oadband_Router
Not sure if it'll help if you're just compiling the original firmware.

you'd think someone needing urgent help would use a sensible title wouldn't you? please don't mark threads as urgent. they are not urgent for the memebrs who very kindly donate their time to help others. and "help me!!" ???
anyway, thread closed as it's a duplicate.
