netdir , netcp commands

Hi, we use the netdir and netcp commands from our HPUX box to move some files around our network from some windows servers.

This has been working fine with an old Windows 2000 Server but it won't connect to our newer Windows 2008 server.

It gives a socket error. It also won't connect to an old Windows NT server either. Any ideas what could be blocking these connections?

Not familiar with those tools. But we need to access the server from Unix.
