Question SAN Storage Disks Replacing

Dear All,

In Solaris 10, we have an Oracle ASM set up on power path pseudo disks. Those pseudo disks have 2 path from 2 HBA ports to SAN LUNs. The SAN will be replaced with a new SAN. My question here is not regarding Oracle and ASM, rather regarding cleanly removing old LUNs and configuring new LUNs in Solaris.

Here is what I THINK I should do.

1) Stop Database instance.
2) Stop ASM instance.
3) powermt remove dev=<peudodevice> (do this, to unmanage all pseudo devices)
4) cfgadm -c unconfigure cX:wwnport (this will be done for 2 hba ports)
5) Remove OLD SAN cables and connect new SAN cables.
6) cfgadm -c configure cX:wwnport (done for 2 hba ports)
7) powermt config (to load the devices and paths)
8) devfsadm -C (to reload and update /dev and /devices)

Can anyone please confirm whether this is the procedure and command to cleanly remove old LUNs and configure new ??
