Plan 9 / Inferno

Has anyone on this forum done any projects in the past involving either the Plan 9 or the Inferno operating systems? Or is anyone currently working on any projects involving them?

I started playing around with Inferno a little while ago, because 1) the Styx-based resource hierarchy sounded interesting, and 2) it seemed like a possible alternative to Java. But the documentation is not great, and the programming language (limbo) is not very exciting. I'm wondering if it will be worthwhile to stick with it and overcome the learning curve.

I think you'll find that Plan 9 and Inferno are interesting on the surface, but that your time is better invested in more mainstream operating systems. Of course, you could always start developing and try to use your apps to attract attention.
