MINIX mount: Can't mount /dev/fd0 on floppy: Invalid argument

I just installed Minix 2.0 4 in a virtual machine (bochs) and the same in other vertual machine Connectrix PC without a hitch and made a floppy directory at the root, and when I try to

mount /dev/fd0 /floppy

it gives me

mount: Can't mount /dev/fd0 on floppy: Invalid argument
The format command works at some times

Yes, I did this at the root! I'm not sure what the trouble is; it gives me the same message when I try to mount with the fd0 root folder the installation created. also in bot cases Litte help?!

does your /floppy folder exist?
try creating any emtpy dir and try mounting on that.
mkdir /root/w3bd3vil
mount /dev/fd0 /root/w3bd3vil

If possible, why not try running it on the real hardware.. you will be removing a troublesome layer of complexity that way.
