On google I will not easily find recommendations besides from colleges that provide the courses.

Thanks, great link. Helped a lot. Has anyone here taken a part time course and could recommend one from own personal or from a friends experience that is in London?

Not me, but you could try a search for a chat board or message board to see if you can gauge how the students see it/saw it. Or, if you have some spare cash or a grant, try doing it via the Open University - they're a well respected institute.
