Homebrew Installation Issue: MacOS leopard

Hi I try to install Homebrew on my old mac that have macOs Leopard 10.5.8

I have first run that command:
ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL"

But there was a certificates verification problem

So I have had (as I have seen on forums) the option -k , then it has started I have typed my password, it was about to download and install Homebrew and then this message:
curl: (35) error:1407742E:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1
alert protocol version

gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
/usr/bin/tar: Child returned status 1
/usr/bin/tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
Failed during: /bin/bash -o pipefail -c '/usr/bin/curl -fsSLk | /usr/bin/tar xz -m
--strip 1'

Pls what should I do?

Homebrew is a MacOS program. Are you trying to install it on a MacOS system? If so, please keep in mind that is a Linux forum, and we don't really address questions related to MacOS. You might get a better response on a Mac forum.

You need to follow special directions for 10.7 or older, because your Curl is too old to speak to GitHub using HTTPS:

However, MacOS 10.11 or newer is strongly recommended, Leopard is 10 years outdated!!!

that solves _your_ side if your linux distro didn't disable it (forcing you to use their wares)

however the server side (the linux distro's web server) can refuse to server to you (forcing you to using their official disks)
