Any other users out there?

I worked on it briefly at a former job. Ran it on IBM (Sequent) NUMA servers.

I am still providing tech support on them.

The folks at that former job still use them as well though they've migrated a lot of stuff over to HP-UX. Since I had several years of HP-UX it was a main reason I got that job. (By the way if you do HP-UX also that company is looking.)

One thing that bothered me was they had no last or finger command so I had to write scripts to read the fwtmp file to emulate those commands. It reminded me of working on Xenix.

Anyway it let me add another Unix variant to my resume. The one I'm most proud of having there is Astrix which was NEC's variant. I've not yet met anyone else who worked on that. Another rarity I saw once upon a time was Qnix. I worked on system that had that but wasn't really the administrator.

Often amazes me what is still out there. At my current job we have one HP-UX 10.20 server on which the boot log's first entry is July of 1995. Could be worse though - the first HP-UX I worked on was 7.
