Brandz installation is detailed there: http://opensolaris.org/os/community/brandz/install/

Note that you can install it on OpenSolaris too (the doc says Solaris Express is required).

If you create the zonepath on ZFS, the zone will use it without knowledge of it.

You can use the lx-syscall dtrace provider to analyse linux kernel calls.
