iMac won't Boot USB HDD
2006 iMac running OS 10 something. I installed mint 20 cinnamon on HDD Put it in external USB enclosure. HDD will boot MacBook mounted internally. It will not boot either Mac if connected w/external USB enclosure. Will boot my dell laptop from external USB.
I did the procedure - hold Option button soon as chime sounds. Drive does not appear on startup page. I opened the iMac's disk utility. It does see the external HDD.
