A word on today's batch of updates

Hi,

A word on today's batch of updates.

I've never been happy with Openshot, which may be the most intuitive video editor in the Linux world, but it's also buggy and crashy as hell. Unfortunately KDEnlive and Cinelerra are way less intuitive.

Now I've fiddled around recently with Flowblade, a not so well-known video editor, and I must say, I'm stunned. It's simply perfect. So I decided this weekend to integrate it into MLED 14.1 and 14.2, as a replacement for Openshot.

To get started is quite easy. Check out one of the numerous video tutorials on Youtube, and in less than 15 minutes, you'll be doing your own video editing. Flowblade is rock-solid and fast, so it's our new choice for video editing.

As for the other stuff, you'll find the usual updated language packs for Firefox and Thunderbird, whose frantic release cycle is a pain in the ass for every package maintainer.

The OwnCloud client in the extra/ repo has been upgraded to the latest version.

Cheers,

Niki
