Xmms Player Music CD Issues
 

Hi all,

After listening to my music cd's on Xmms, half way through some tracks, the player stops playing the song and acts likes its paused and trying to restart.

No errors come on screen.

Any ideas?

I don't know....but I guess it happens with Audio CDs burnt at full speed.

Usually, Audio CDs burnt at a slower speed like 8x won't cause such problems.

Not sure if it happens with Original CDs.

I managed to get the issue fixed by plaing around with some mixer settings. I was playing original CD's at the time. After afew minutes or playing with Kmixer, the issue was fixed.

I like these type of issues though as thats the only was you learn Linux :)
