why is the default wallpaper a poison symbol?

Why is the default wallpaper in MEPIS 7 and 8 a skull in a yellow triangle? Do Warren Woodford and his designers have a morbid sense of humor? Because it looks like a symbol for either poison or death. Just curious.

Hi -

The default wallpaper for "root" (the super user) is the poison symbol.

They're trying to tell you that logging in as "root", and treating "root" as though it were a normal user, isn't a good idea.

You should always create at least one "normal" user (I believe the Mempis install walks you through this), and you should make it a habit to log in as a "normal" user.

This is equally true for the "Administrator" logon in Windows.

'Hope that helps .. PSM
