Where's the X?

I was changing around my monitor refresh rate, and I believe I bumped it up to high in MEPIS because now when I restarted my machine, it won't let me get into KDE. I'm on my windows machine right now, and my refresh rate is 75hertz , so I want to know what file should I edit to get back to where I was?

the live cd has a tool in the instalation center. Otherwise you will be editing /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
