Unable to write to mounted partitions


hey,

I just did a smart upgrade on mepis 3.3 totaling 400mg worth of download.

Now i cant write to my mounted partitions. FAT32.. i cant even change the access permissions via root?


please help...

Back up your data first.
Can you write to the fat32 partitions when in XP-pro?
If so try a disk error check with Nortons or Partition Magic.
If errors show up do a repair, *NOTE see first line*

More details on partition details etc may help before doing the above mention tests/repair if system/data is mission critical.

Although I would not leave mission-critical data on a FAT32 drive for long, regardless!!

Fixed it... i just reformated the fat32.

It could be a fix, if the filesystem were corrupted.
