Unable to login Mepis 8 Password required

Hi
Have used Mepis 8 CD to solve problem of starting Mepis 8
Login as ma1 Password not correct
How can I find password to restart Mepis 8 that is all on the hard drive
Configuring live CD has not solved the problem

Not sure what your issue is, but if you are talking about the passwords for the livecd, they are demo for the demo account and root for the root account.

Thanks for information have print out of the instructions.

I did try using Mepis 8 disk to help add new password did enter new password but when login required password it was error so have yet to have Mepis 8 up and running
Have full use of Kubuntu on another drive so able to email
Will let you know when Mepis is back on screen
