Synaptic Hiccups

ok, is my system hosed, or is there something new happening in Debian.org-land?
i get continuous "Failed" responses on the Reloads under synaptic updating, from 21 to 28.
what's up? the newest info on the mepis.com/org site is the 3.3 release notes.
am i missing something? google is a nightmare to wade through, too, on this.

I don't have the link to prove it but it's around somewhere on mepislovers.org. Take out (un-check) the "non-us" entries in Synaptic repositories as they have been discontinued by the Debian folks.
