sashroot = ?

My login screen changed a day or two ago. In addition to showing my account and the root account, there is a new account called "sashroot." Its name shws up as the word root with the word sashroot underneath it. The icon is identical to my user account's--the penguin with no headdress. What is sashroot, and how did I get it? I haven't downloaded such a thing.

If you have used 'apt-get install' lately, something
has in fact been downloaded.
And installing an application depending on 'sash'
will install 'sash', resulting in : sash sets up a
'sashroot' user account.

I use Synaptic, and occasionally Kpackage. I must have downloaded something that needed sash, whatever it is. Thank you.
