pptp in lite3.3.2 ?


I have downloaded 3.3.2 that is supposed to include the pptp module (my internet connection/ modem is pptp type)

However, I don't find how to activate/ install pptp internet connection. Is it really there and I missed it? If so, where is it "hiding"?

If it's not there, which version does include the pptp module?

You have to patch both the kernel and ppp with pppt/pppe.
I found it easiest to download the latest stable kernel from and use the patches from there as well. Download ppp source and pppe patch and compile it.
Then recompile the kernel and activate the modules:

modprobe ppp_mppe_mppc

and: modprobe ppp_generic, modprobe ppp_async, modprobe ppp_deflate
