plugins windows empty


Hi,
I am suprised that the plugins window is empty (in preferences->download ) , I want to use realplayer directly from firefox and other plugins, but no plugin is listed . ( I am using firefox 1.0 on sarge debian)
This is the standard installation of firefox on debian.

This seems like a Firefox problem rather than a Mepis one. Have you checked out Firefox sites such as PluginDoc ?

There is a lot of help there from that side of the question.
