In certain applications or websites on Firefox--so far I have seen it happen while on MySpace and while talking to people on Gaim--my entire video spontaneously disintegrates into colored lines and swirls. No key I have tried can produce an intelligible error message or return me to what I was doing. And sicne my computer lacks a physical reset button, I have no choice (that I know of) but to pull the plug. Is there any command or keystroke (that I can enter or press without having to see its progress on the screen) that could reset the video?

Best to tie it down or restrain it somehow
I break up from time to time too and my missus throws a bucket of water on me
