MEPIS on a flash drive

hi, i was wondering, if i had a big enough flash drive, if i could put MEPIS on it, would i have to add any boot paramaters, i dont want a distro disigned for a flash drive like puppy, ive tried them, and i dont like them, i love mepis, and would like to take it with me, but not have to carry the mepis cd everywhere

Mepis CD does make some changes to the kernel based on your config
In most cases you will get a tailored config that will work best with your Pc
It is more difficult to get something similar to the live CD on a USB drive
