There are quite a lot of bugs in the MEPIS Control Center.
Like,
Take the Network settings option.
Until and unless you don't press the "apply settings" button, you won't get the settings finalized for the tab.
If you click some other tab, without applying the settings, the previous settings are lost!
Moreover, I have seen a lot of people having trouble with bringing up their cards.
The problem with bringing up eth0 etc, has been much more with laptop users.
I was told that all such known bugs are resolved in the 3.3.1 version.
