Mepis 9?

I just wondered if MEPIS 9 is coming out anytime soon. I didn't see anything to that effect on MEPIS.org, but it's been nearly a year since MEPIS 8.

In this years march they released Mepis 8.5 with KDE 4.3, may be you want to have a look at that. As Mepis is based on Debian Stable, I would assume that Mepis 9 will come after Debian Squeeze is released as the new stable Debian. The Debian developers aim at a release date before christmas, but, because it is Debian, it will be released when its done.

All assumptions aside, there will be no Mepis 9. It will go directly to M10. KDE 3 is dead. Long live KDE.

I note that you didn't say long live KDE 4.
