I have no answers. Here's the first output of my gpg /dev/null...
Code:
fpd@0[~]$ gpg /dev/null
gpg: directory `/home/fpd/.gnupg' created
gpg: new configuration file `/home/fpd/.gnupg/gpg.conf' created
gpg: WARNING: options in `/home/fpd/.gnupg/gpg.conf' are not yet active during this run
gpg: keyring `/home/fpd/.gnupg/secring.gpg' created
gpg: keyring `/home/fpd/.gnupg/pubring.gpg' created
gpg: processing message failed: eof
On the second run of gpg /dev/null I get the same as you...
Code:
gpg: processing message failed: eof

Were you using 6.5.00 or 6.5.02?

Ok, so you're leaving/have left. But don't you remember which you were using?
Your answer may help us help someone else -- a main goal of LQ.

I get the same error, but it doesn't seem to be interfering with the installation of packages. As long as you don't put anything weird in your sources.list, you'll be ok.
