Thumbs up Just resurrected a HP G7000 using MX-15

As per the title.

The HP G7000 laptop (2009) in question, belongs to a friend, and it has 2GB of ram and a Celeron CPU rated at about 500, so not the fastest.

It also has a Broadcom wifi card.

She was planning to scrap it and buy a new laptop, but I managed to get it a stay of execution

I have just installed MX-15 32 bit and it just purrs along nicely. It even does BBC iPlayer videos out of the box and they run very smoothly.

Well done MX-15 and all who have helped with the development.

I've heard a number of folks remark Antix is a good solution. As I understand it MX-15 is based on that so it should be similar.

Thanks for the info.
