Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've thought about installing a different video card, but I'm not a gamer or do intensive graphics. The card that came with my HP is an ATI Radeon Express 200g, and it seems to sufficient for my needs. After reading several posts about graphics and Linux, I've decided that if a new card ever got installed in my computer, it would most likely be an Nvidia something or other. Computer manufacturers should not put cards on the motherboard at all; I suppose they are just being cheap without considering the end user. There just has to be a way to put a new video card in your computer, but I sure don't have the knowledge to go about it.

Hello shortblock: If you already have a video card you are O K, I thought you were using onboard video. The ATI Rage cards are good cards, but the Nvidia cards do seem to be more Linux friendly. Have a good day.
