apt-get msttcorefonts (as root)
(not sure of the spelling)
If you are not comfortable with the command line
you can use the GUI, either Synaptic or Kpackage..
search for name and description.. fonts..

OR...

I took some fonts from my M$ side, and just drag'n'drop into the appropriate location using Konqueror. It has a Font folder for easy access to it.
If you cant use that, then this is where the fonts are stored =>
/usr/local/share/fonts/ and
/etc/X11/fonts/ and
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/ Probably in other locations...

If you type => locate fonts it will give you a LARGE list.

If you dual boot with windows, and run KDE, you just click 'install fonts', go to the windows font folder - hi-light the fonts you want to install and click install...

Or you can burn the fonts to a CDR and install that way.

If you're going to put them on there, put all of them!
