Installed p7zip via apt-get... Where is it?
hi all, i'm trying to get straight with raring and unraring files. i tried to unrar a pw protected files and got an error message. i though that 7-zip might work well since it works so well on windows.
apt-get p7zip
...
seemd to do the trick, but i can't find the program.
i typed
find p7zip
and got back "No such file or directory"
when i look at installed programs via synaptic, it is there.
how do i use this thing? in windows, you just right click the file and it gives you an option to use 7-zip.
do i need to restart to get access?
tia...

In synaptic, you can see that p7zip installs two binary files, 7za, and 7z. I would like to know what the difference is and how to use them. This is also supposed to work with file roller, but it doesn't for me. Who knows why?
