Hpdeskjet948c is configured but printer does not start to print untill the system is shutdown

Mepis Printer Test Page Printed Using Cups v1.x.x has been printed

Appart from printer problem Mepis all works fine

Will try yet another text test print to see if the printer does start

No printer problem using Mandrake 10

This is a guess way out there but maybe if it prints during shutdown and you have some iptables firewall enabled maybe it is blocking port 631 udp until during shutdown when the firewall is brought down. Just a guess.
