i lost the default setting on my task bar's home icon so it didn't bring up konquerer. i reconfigured it so it brings up knoquerer now, but it defaults to...

/usr/share/doc/mozilla-browser/localstart.html

in addition, it doesn't bring up the left navigation pane view.

i would like to set it so it brings up the two pane view and defaults to /home/username

i right clicked -> properties -> applications.

command is '/usr/bin/konqueror'

work path is /home/username

intuitively, i would think this would default to my home directory. it doesn't. it goes to

/usr/share/doc/mozilla-browser/localstart.html

any guidance is much appreciated.

i figured it out by checking out my root settings.

kfmclient openProfile filemanagement

belongs in the command entry.

it wants to start up...

/home/username/Desktop/New Folder

...and i can't figure out why nor can i change it. it is very odd.

any help here is appreciated.
