Hide previous users

I just applied some updates to Simply Mepis 7.0. Now, it shows which previous users logged in. I want users to type in their own user names and to have a blank username box and blank password each time somebody logs in. There is no provision to do this in user management or in the KDE user manager when I'm running as root.

Is this somewhere in /etc that I can say not to display this user or something like that?

You need to run kcontrol -> system administration and tinker with the options for the login manager.
